Bigger, better and even more "right"

Since 2004, Utne Camping has had a very interesting accommodation building on the site. Both architecturally and systematically the octagonal building is different and practical at the same time. Now our new octagon is finally finished.

Now our new octagon is finally finished!

The old octagon has an open loft with two double beds, living room / kitchen and a comfortable bathroom downstairs. In addition, these apartments of course have a mini kitchen with dishwasher and a living room with TV.

In the new building the headroom is quite different. Here we have built a nice staircase leading up to the first floor and three full bedrooms with double beds in each. The headroom is high, in some places up to over 4 meters. So here will be breathing space for and tall and small guests.

The new apartments have got surprisingly large and spacious bathrooms, with  white decoration tiles on the walls and a lovely shower.

We do not want to speculate what our guests are doing in the shower, but here you will find dancing space and even more. A  kitchen  is in place, with dishwasher and plenty of room to make a delicious dinner.

I the living room there is a dining room table with bench and 4 chairs, seating 8 people.

We have also found room for a spacious corner sofa down in the living room, so you can relax and enjoy a good movie on TV. This can easily be turned into a wide double bed. So when darkness falls and the television company wants you to send an SMS to keep the night deejay busy, this can be turned into a good sofa bed and make room for two more spoiled camping guests.

When it comes to outdoor areas, you can really talk about fitting right into the terrain.From the terrace outside the room you can really get to know the feeling of room, space and freedom ...  we like to call it the Utne-feeling. There is even a private booth belonging to each of the rooms.

In the centre of the octagon there is a technical room built in the building's height, so that our janitor can make technical adjustments and repairs of water, sewer or power without being noticed or spotted by anyone.

The new octagon is so far from the established understanding of the word "camping cabins"as one can get. Something between a "large family-room" and a "spacious holiday cottage in the cake tin" can be adequate.

Having said this these rooms are primarily designed and meant for companies and their employees when they are our guests. Because in this building three men can have their own private bedroom , and be visited by their loved ones and their own private life. There is room for clothes, people, prosperity, and air.There is a window to open air and light, a fully HD 19 "flat screen TV in every bedroom ... and if our guests should agree on entertainment and choice of TV channel they can share the large HD TV in the living room. Currently, there are 13 digital channels in our cable TV system, and if this is not sufficient several of our TV sets have an input for Digital subscription cards, so you can bring the entire number of channels from your digital coder at home.

Of course there are plenty of outlets for power and good coverage of our wireless Internet system.

We are almost ready to welcome guests in our magnificent new building. Now remains only the furnishing of the last apartments and the new secluded stone terraces laid out. When everything is ready, it will be beautiful teak outdoor furniture ready for a breather.
